| Barbara
Calm, DVM
Dr. Calm grew up in Colorado and moved to Montana
after graduating from Colorado State University College
of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She established Calm
Animal Care in a small rustic building up Truman Creek
Road, moving to downtown Kila in 1985. As the practice
grew so did her family, and both of her sons spent
much of their early childhood "helping" at the clinic,
a tradition that continues into their teenage years.
In
1997 Dr. Calm began exploring alternative veterinary
medicine, earning accreditation in veterinary acupuncture
and veterinary chiropractic. While maintaining her
traditional medical and surgical abilities, Barbara
now focuses mainly on the complementary options for
treating your pets.
